I am always working on fleeces and have fleece, batts and yarn available in small quantities. Prices vary, depending on the micron of the fibre and the amount of processing it has received.

Fibre Sales

Raw Whole Fleece - this is straight off the shearing table. The fleece is sorted into two bags: saddle and 2nds. At the moment most of the herd are white, cream and fawn, however there are some darker colours including brown, grey and dark fawn. Whole fleeces start at $10. Fleeces will contain vegetable matter and dust.

Cleaned Fleece - fleece has been washed. It will still contain some vegetable matter, however most of the dust will have been removed and the colour of the fleece will be more visible.

Carded Fleece - the fleece is cleaned and picked and then put through a carding machine to form a batt. It is ready to be spun or felted.

Yarn - yarn is sometimes available in small quantities of around 200 grams.
